Sunsets

The beauty of a sunset,
The hues so golden bright,
Is something that I love to see
While on the beach at night.
The colors of the rainbow
Parading in the sky,
I wish that I could touch them
As they pass me by.
As the moon rises up
And the sun settles down,
The colors are fading and
It causes me to frown.
I cannot wait until tomorrow
To see the sunset again.
But now I'll go to sleep
And dream of it till then.
