Love

Being in love is like a rose that never dies.
It is something we'll remember for the rest of our lives.
It is hard to be without you; I always want you near.
I want to be with the person I hold so close and dear.
I hope we stay together and should never part.
Even if we do, you'll always be in my heart.
I guess I'm just a romantic. I want an everlasting love.
But for whatever you will give me, I will thank the Lord above.
Because if you weren't with me, I could never live
Without having someone special to whom my love I could give.
Though love may be this precious, it may make you shed some tears,
But our love I will remember throughout the rest of my years.
